At the beginning of 2026, I started writing songs that felt like postcards from an imagined Mediterranean summer. They were inspired as much by memories as by real places, by long evenings, faded sunlight, sea air and the feeling that somewhere beyond the horizon another story was waiting to begin.

BEAU RIVAGE became the first chapter of the Abracadabrant journey.

In April 2026, almost by accident I stumbled upon the work of Carl Sadakichi Hartmann (1867 - 1944). I had never heard his name before. What I found moved me deeply. I was struck by the emotional honesty, the sensual beauty and the quiet melancholy of his words. What began as curiosity gradually evolved into a curated collection of seventeen musical interpretations.

I hope these songs may encourage others to discover the remarkable poet whose words gave rise to them.
